Teaser: Mining overhaul, player controlled enemy spawning



For the upcoming Steam demo, I have developed a system to automatically spawn enemies given a difficulty. On top of providing more balance and variety, this has given me an idea for a new gameplay concept.

I have scrapped the wave system entirely, opting instead to give full control over when mining drills are active. This in turn, gives you complete control over when enemies are spawning.

As mentioned, I am no longer publishing updates to the Itch page (for now, I will probably update it one more time with the release of the steam demo.)

This update is available to try RIGHT NOW! You just have to join the Discord. You will see regular progress updates and get constant access to new updates for the game.
